Shaheed Marathon
The ‘Shaheed Daud’ in Sangli, organized under the guidance of Samit Kadam, State President of Jansurajya Yuva Shakti, concludes in Mumbai. Shaheed Ashok Kamte Smriti Foundation organized the Sangli to Mumbai Shaheed Run. This 470 km. The Sangli to Mumbai Shaheed Daud concluded at the Gateway of India in Mumbai in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Mumbai Guardian Minister Mangalprabhat Lodha, Assembly Speaker Rahul Narvekar, police officers and staff. The race was from Shaheed Ashok Kamte Chowk in Sangli to Gateway of India (Mumbai). The route of this race was Sangli, Kanhar Satara, Pune, Lonavala, Panvel, Mumbai. The race started from Sangli on November 22 at 6:30 am. Daud arrived in Mumbai on Saturday (26th) at 08:30 am at Gateway of India (Mumbai). The students who completed the 470 km Ultra Run of Shaheed Marathon became the special attraction of this race.

Give relief to traders
He took initiatives by submitting proposal of demand to the Relief and Rehabilitation Minister Hon. Subhash Deshmukh. In this he stated that traders, entrepreneurs and professionals have suffered huge losses due to the floods in West Maharashtra and Konkan, so the government should take a decision to provide immediate relief to the flood-affected traders. In this, he expected to declare wet drought, give concessions in GST and income tax to businessmen, make Panchnama of damage due to floods and provide relief, reduce interest rate for one year and waive interest on other loans, get insurance for damage immediately, order insurance companies to relax conditions, among other demands.

Demanding to be given stalls for sales
Youth regional president of Jansurajya Shakti Samit Kadam gave a statement to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav. Railways should change the policy of selling food and drinks and give stalls to local cooperative milk unions to sell milk products at the railway station. Made the statement said that 20 percent of the world’s milk production is produced in India. Railways have promoted the sale of milk products at stalls at various railway stations by including milk and milk products in their food and beverage services. These stalls in railway stations are given to cooperative milk societies which are members of National Cooperative Dairy Federation of India. The process will be implemented through a tender process by inviting applications from local co-operative milk societies recognized by the State Governments; However, Railways should revise the policy of milk and milk products stalls and allot stalls to local cooperative milk societies instead of tender process. This will benefit railways and cooperative milk societies. Samit Kadam also requested the railway minister to provide facilities to railway passengers in Western Maharashtra and to start a railway coach factory in Sangli and Kolhapur districts.

Take measures against floods
Samit kadam aggressively demanded to the Deputy Chief Minister Hon. Devendraji Fadanvis to get permanent measures over grim flood situation occurring in Kolhapur and Sangli District due to Almatti Dam. He also suggested to have a good communication, coordination with the Government of Karnataka and to keep regular surveillance over the dissolution of water from Almatti Dam in the rainy season. He did not fail to raise the issue of poor road in Miraj Tahsil

Help farmers affected by cyclones
Letter sent to Deputy Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition to help farmers affected by cyclone Cyclone ‘Taukte’ has caused extensive damage to coastal districts of the state. These people are in dire need of financial assistance from the state government. For that, the founder president of Jansuraj Shakti Party MLA Dr. Vinay Kore has been sent a letter to Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister. Also, the state president of the party, Samit Kadam, has met the opposition leader of the state, Devendra Fadnavis, and has written a compassionate letter regarding the loss. Cyclone Taukte has hit the state hard since May 15. Due to stormy winds and heavy rains, the livelihood of fishermen will also be disrupted due to loss of boats; farmers’ economic situation has become worse due to loss of crops. Considering that serious industries and businesses have been destroyed, there is an early compensation for the damages. Already, the people of Maharashtra have become agitated due to the spread of Corona and the heavy storm.
